Theylymitra rubra (Pink Sun Orchid)
The Pink Sun orchid (Thelymitra rubra) is widespread in coastal heath around much of the Tasmanian coast. Forming quite large patches, it tends to open more readily than some sun orchids though still needs a warm day. It is common to see well developed buds in cool weather which just need a warm day to open.
