Caladenia dilatata (Green-comb spider orchid)
Caladena dilatata is a spectacular spider orchid found over a wide area of Tasmania with sightings reported from the far South, up the East Coast, Midlands and NW Coast. Around Hobart locations include south Arm, Boronia Hill, Kingston & Peter Murrel Reserve.
Flowers appear from around mid November through to January in Eucalypt woodland, sandy heath and coastal scrub.
