Corunastylis morrisii

Bearded Midge Orchid

Prefers Coastal button grass and heath on better-drained ground such as raised areas and sandy soil. However, I have seen it on the slopes of Mt Amos at the Freycinet National Park as well

Scape 20 – 30 cm tall, flowers from 2-3 to 12 or more in a dense spike at the top of the scape. Labellum has a dense fringe of obvious coarse purplish hairs
