Chiloglotis reflexa (Autumn bird orchid)
Chiloglotis reflexa, the Autumn bird orchid is widespread around Tasmania. Flowering from February with a peak in March and April it can still be found in June.
Habitat is open woodland and heath generally in drier locations. The images below were taken around the Hobart Waterworks in the foothills of Mt Wellington. It is also common in coastal bush and reserves around Hobart.
